This privacy policy states how Tuition Education Platform (TEP) uses and protects information given by you to TEP when you use apps or browse our website. TEP is committed to ensuring that privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. This page will be updated to align with any changes. This policy is effective from April 12, 2019. TEP’s goal is to provide users with a streamlined and enjoyable experience. We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place thorough physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. This does not prevent from egregious attacks from entities that infiltrate data.

Stripe

Tuition EP use the Stripe payment platform. Stripe has been audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. Furthermore, anyone involved with the processing, transmission, or storage of card data must comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).

Information Collected

Information collected is used by TEP to identify you as our customer, manage and protect your accounts, complete your transactions, and to personalize your experience with your organization and to comply with various legal and regulatory requirements.

Cookies and Log Files

TEP may place cookies on a visitor’s device in order to streamline experiences. These cookies save anonymized data about individual visitors. TEP use session cookies which terminate when a user closes their app or browser. On browser experiences persistent cookies, can remain on the visitors device until expiration or manually deletion. TEP utilizes coding for analytical purposes. The data stored for analytical purposes stores non personally identifiable information. User’s log files can be accessed by the TEP team in order to help troubleshoot issues and improve the user experience.

Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of your computer or handheld device are collected by TEP. These addresses do not identify personal information, but the device you are using. These are stored to track connections for security purposes. Other optional information that may be collected includes device specific information (type of hardware, OS, settings, geo-location data, and crash data). TEP’s terms of service is not intended to be used by anyone under the age of 18. If we unknowingly collect information that is not intended, please email info@tuitionep.com and we will remove that information with 24 hours. For users of our education platform system and related products, TEP may collect certain information required to provide education platform tools inline with schools, and organizations goals.
